RE: HS5945 good for 30%'er?
I'm putting together a 1/3 / 4.2 / 20 lb. Laser 200 with these on the ailerons and elev. on 6 volts. I'm not the LEAST bit worried about their ability to do the job.

Hi, is it a good idea to use hs5945 on a 50cc airplane? Or should I got something with more torque?

RE: HS5945 good for 30%'er?
The 5945's were superceeded with the 5985 and upgraded version with a stronger pot. This happened over a year ago but some hobby outlets still stock and sell the 5945's.
I like the 5945's and have them in more than one plane, they are fast and strong. I did however manage to wear out a pair on the ailerons of my Extreme Flight 88 inch Yak. They had just enough play in the gear train to allow a low speed flutter that was noticed on a low inverted flyby. I flew them long and hard and the servo's had over[Edit 40] hours of aerobatics on them.
The 5955's do cost more but will likely outlast--barring crashes-- being more cost effective in the long run.
