Default HBK2 w/ BladeCP Pro Canopy

parts interchangeability is always an interesting aspect of our heli addiction...here's my latest 'find'...it actually gives a more streamlined look...btw, we already know that the blade400 maingear works on the hbk2...ken

You modified that to fit right? I tried it once and it didn't seem like it wanted to fit stock (BCP+ canopy but I think it's the same shape as the pro)

hey blk...you have good eyes!...i tried to do 2 flights with my tp3s1320...on the second flight, the battery started shutting down as i was inverted in a flip...hard landing...canopy, spindle, and both upper and lower frames...i finally have an excuse to install the alum swash, washout assy, and ti turnbuckles...btw, the canopy i used is 'e-flite eflh1312, body/canopy, silver w/ decals: bcpp'...ken

in the 2d pic, you can see where i gooped a piece of junkmail credit card stock to the canopy...otherwise it would be too short, and wouldn't reach the stock grommet peg...ken

forgive me for beating an old horse...since i had my camera and hbk2 at my computer, i took these pics...the blade cp pro canopy comes with 4 grommets...the oem canopy-mounting rod eventually gets loose, allowing the canopy to move side-to-side...the blade cpp canopy fixes that...ken
