For sure. I'd like to understand how the induction system works. The carb flows into the case, so there must be a reed valve in there, or something to prevent backflow through the carb on the piston downstroke. The downstroke, however, should assist cylinder induction, as the positive case pressure would push air through the intake tube as the negative pressure in the cylinder draws in the charge when the intake valve opens. But what happens on the power stroke to the air within the case? It can't flow backwards through the carb, and it can't flow through the intake pipe, as the intake valve would be closed.

Must work somehow, though.

If you look at the YS four strokes you will notice that they intake into the crankcase as well. That is how they supercharge their engines and it does work as they have the most power for displacement in the four stroke market.
