Got two complete kits in the mail this week. Probably won't start building until next fall after we get moved into our new house. Just currious to see who else here has done one?

Deep Vee? In the last seven months, I've built a one off Team Pro, SprintCat and putting the finishing touches on an Airboat. Don't recall anything about a wood deep V? Why, do you have one on the way for me? Ps, check your pm's in the next few days Mark. Got some info on my new career.

The wait has been just over three months but well worth it.

Right after they posted the ROCKETT drop sponson kit, I got put on the mailing list. Joe Petro frequents the boards here and has to be the BEST with communication that I've ever seen from any dealer/retailer. I emailed him saying exactly what I wanted... two complete ROCKETT drop sponson kits w/cowl & hardware. He responded within 24 hours saying I was on the waiting list. A few weeks later, a mass update was sent out saying the cowls were taking longer than expected due to them now having to farm them out. A couple weeks pass, another update. Then I sent a courtesy line saying I'm excited and just making sure I wasn't getting overlooked. Again, within 24 hours a response came saying my name was coming up..... THEN FINALLY the confirmation saying the kits were ready for shipment as soon as funds received. A paypal invoice later, I get five tracking numbers almost instantly.

THATS how business should be conducted. This is going to be fun.

SCOTT SCHNEIDER....
You are something else. I've got a three ring binder of your whole Whiplash build. Large full page pictures and the complete thread w/responses to all q's.

My Whiplash is still in the box waiting for some love. Want to give it some?

Dawg,

A WHIPLASH ... Come on now .... get it built !!

Actually I am in waiting for one of Brian Blazers NEW Thunder boat kits. Also waiting on one of the new PHM riggers out of CANADA.
Carmen at Need For Speed has his new multi diffuser pipe ( A proto type ) coming to me any day now for some testing as well.

Damn it, my plate to over full of interesting projects for the near future.

NO EXCUSES, get that WHIP built !!

Scott, a long story but the next three months are going to be very busy with ending one career, starting another, moving a family AND setting up the new shop. The Whip WILL get built, just a matter of when. & thanks for the encouraging words. bud.

Mark, I thought you was talking wood brother. I've still got the Enforcer Team Pro with only one good run on it. For some reason, there's a love affair with them. (btw, this is my fourth.)[X(]

Now, the question is, do we need to take up a collection and order you one of these Zipp hydro's or what? I'm in for a small donation.

The pipe sure sounds interesting, Scott. Keep us informed how it works. Doug

Now Jamie, be nice. I already have a Sport 40 Whiplash and several scratch builds going on. Now if you really want to help, you could take up a collection and get me a couple of G-260s for some 1/6th scale boats already in the works

Guess what arrived today...

Problem is, they'll sit on the shelf for at least six months before they get any attention. [&o]

Don't feel bad. That has to be the quickest shipment ever. Usually they take 7-10 business days.
Like I said, its not like I'm going to do anything with them other than.... open the box, inspect, share some love with the parts & then carefully box them back up and put on the shelf for six months.

Mart, I had to take a quick peek and opened up one of the cowls. All I can say is WOW. Epoxy glass, no stink and VERY nice lines & QUALITY. You're going to love this thing.
Dang it.... can't start on it. We've got to get moved in the next two months and the last thing I need is to lose parts.

Hardware kit arrived today as well.

I highly doubt you will find a kit as well thought out, COMPLETE with super nice stuff as this. Price break down:

(2) hull assemblies
(2) epoxy glass cowls
(2) complete hardware packages -- Rudder brackets, rudders, pushrod seals, strut, drive dog & even a prop nut

$570 SHIPPED.... Beat that~!

To Joe Petro & support gang, THANKS Brother. This is going to be fun.
