Default Turbocat build: New

Greetings to all the boating lovers. I am very new to the boating. Just started and here is some pics of my Turbocat.
I am just waiting for my CY26 or SIKK26 5hp gas engine and tuned pipe. I would definitely like to pick your brains and get some help on setup for my new boat.

BTW this is my first attempt at airbrushing. Thought I’ll let the arty side of me out. Hope you enjoy the pics.

It looks liikke we lost some replies. This morning I found that we got yet another virus on the site so Marc must have dialed it back to midnight again.

Looks nice, CY26 or SIKK26 are same engine no difference same name, they will deliver good power of such hull, try to lower CG as much as you can and don’t forget to open veneration holes in the hatch.

OOK My SIKK engines just arrived with tuned pipe, manifold, and water jacket. I’ll post some pics soon. First I have to show you my second airbrush boat and also the 3rd. The second is the Blackjack 36. The 3rd “Black boat†is an Osprey Hull.
Hope you enjoy the eyecandy

Ok This is where I need some advice.
1) Is centre of gravity a factor for mounting engine?
2) Is mounting engine more forward or back going to affect handling?
3) Can the engine be mounted at an angle inline with the cable drive?
4) Mounting fuel tank in front of engine, Will it affect handling?
5) More weight infront does it prevent the boat from flipping at high speeds.

Thanks.
Please help.

This is the latest. Any comments. I started the engine and I see the prop really vibrates a lot. Any comments on that will be appreciated.
