Default How to correct goof?

Hi all,

Last night I was applying thin CA to the struts on my biplane only to discover that I grabbed the CA debonder instead. I quickly wiped away the liquid but now I am afraid that the joint has weakened. What should I do now? DP

Allow the debonder to dry COMPLETELY. Apply more thin CA and let it wick into the joint. It should hold.

Hi Dr1

I tested on a dried blob of CA and I noticed that the debonder will soften the glue but if let dry, the CA will be re-hardened in a few hours. I learn now not to lay the debonder nearby... DP
