replace the chassis

but why bother
they do not affect structural integrity
and you'll just get more the next time you run it

Step 1. Buy a new chassis.
Step 2. Polish said chassis.
Step 3. Put it on the shelf and never use it.

This is the only way you'll have a pristine chassis.

I've seen some lexan undercovers you can buy. Usually you have to cut your own from a sheet of lexan.

What's the chassis made out of, and how deep are the scratches?

That's like asking, 'How do I keep the soles of my shoes clean.'

use a palm sander start with a heavy grit like 60 and move up to 600. rub in some mothers polish and then you have a blink blink chassis. i would then cover it with a few layers of clear packing tape.

Because it's kinda like wiping before you poop. Doesnt really make sence, I mean you can polish the bottom of the chassis, but you wont get the real deep scratches though. Also if you grind the chassis with a grinder then you will need to take everything then grind then put everything back on, you'll also take away from some structural rigidity that we so dearly look for. I can see if you want it to be nice and shinny but it will never stay that way. Your chassis will always 100% guranteed to get scratches on the bottom as long as you drive it around, it's just something that happens. About the only real way that could keep your chassis scratch free other then putting it on a shelf would be to put a clear lexan sheet on it. Thats the only good suggestion that I've ever heard yet never knew anybody who ever did do that.

125 that's the funniest thing I've read in a long time wiping before you poop, I have tears in my eyes lol thanx for starting my day off right!

Oh and I agree, unless you plan on shelfing your machine Bosley, don't bother with scratches, if it's that important to you, then buy a new chassis, they're not that expensive anymore. Depends what you want to do with it man.
