There are quite a few electric twins available that would work well with the 20s or 26s. That would be my approach. One example: http://www.nitroplanes.com/yetwenovbr15.html

I'm using OS26's in my Twinstar.... The 20's should work as well, and there is lots of weight to be saved by using smaller servos and battery pack......

One of my Twin-Air 20's flies on two HP .21 four-strokes.
It's a 6 lb plane.
Not a screamer, but flies around nice and quiet and I have landed it with one engine out, although it lost altitude slowly at full throttle with one engine.
I'm not familiar with the FS-20, but it's bound to have more power than the HP-21, which has very little.

kram (Mark?):
That looks nice. I think it will be perfect for those FS-20 engines as well. This will be my first scratch built, meaning I have to cut my own wood, etc.

I think it was RCM had a plan for a Dornier Skysevant designed for 2 x 15 2 stroke engines. I used to own an FS 20 & I think with the power it developed (about the same as a 15 2 stroke) a pair of them would be fine in this model.
Google the Dornier to see what it looks like, if you are a fan of Volvos it will appeal to you! John.

Actually, it's just weird enough that I like it!
But I wonder about the engine nacelles being so narrow. Might not hide much of the FS-20. It also looks to complicated a design for me to try to scratch build.

Hi!
The Great Planes DC-3 will fly just fine on two OS FS .20 engines. I have the Marutaka DC-3 and it''s the same size and it's over powered with the OS FS .26 I use.
I have scale 3-blade Hamilton standard carbon fiber props (10x4,5) for it if you want.

I think that 2 20's produce more power and thrust than a single 40, right?
Jan's plane I'll bet flies very scale-like and sweet.
My $0.02...

This is from the designer of the Top Flite DC-3. He says the FS-26 is the minimum that can be used:

Hi!
What the designer say is one thing...what you can do yourself is another. It's all about weight! Or getting rid of unnecessary weight.
If you can build the Great Planes DC-3 at around 3,0-3,8 kg the OS FS.20 engines will do just well. Provided you prop it right.
My Marutaka DC-3 weights 3,6kg ready to fly and is a very gentle flier using my own made 3-blade 10x4,5 carbon props

ANYWAY, I just wanted to say that KRAM, you must be one Big Fella because I thought this plane was fairly small looking next to you, but opening the plans and looking at them this model is actually pretty big!

HAR!
Did I fail to mention the part about being 6' 7" ?
Nonetheless, when built all-balsa, as it's designed, the plane will weigh less than 7 lbs fueled up, and those .20's will fly it just fine. I know this because nothing could have have less power than my HP .21's and they do OK.
Are you sure they didn't send you the TwinAir-40 plans by mistake?
