Agreed.
Best feature is it is a double ended motor. Be a easy motor for twin engined boat with counter-rotating engines.
Looks like a lot of extra metal all over it.

I'd stay away from it, most people are taking those out of the rtr boats and putting Zens and Sikks in. Looks like you'd have trouble mounting it in a 'proper' hull too [&:]

I'm totally new to boats, and think its more appropriate if i learn on the cheaper stuff, on the other hand if its garbage I would rather know now before i waste money.

I have no experience of the motor you posted the link to, but have some experience of other Zen copies, my advice is to go and buy either a stock Zen or Sikk motor, leave them stock and run them and enjoy it, stock motors tend to be easier to handle and set up, especially when the owner is less experienced, then when you gain more experience, you can upgrade by getting your stock motor worked on or buy another one already done.
Not sure about Canada but over here you occasionally find the odd Zen popping up for sale second hand, might save you few quid. (Sorry - Dollars).

if your totally new to boats like I was, just go with a zen 260 and you'll be very happy with it. I've heard many bad things about those fujis

Go with a real Zenoah and you pretty much won't go wrong. How about this price from Bonzi Sports? [link=http://bonzisports.com/zenoah/zenoah260.html]$200 Zen G260[/link]
You can get it in black, silver or green (even though it says blue) for 200 bucks plus shipping. Real hard to beat. I've got one .
