Default RE: cc racing full mod engine's

get a QuickDraw

the 25 High Torque! This ready to
run engine is a very high torque version. A direct bolt
in replacement for any Zenoah powered boat! No
Flywheel required and it runs it's best on 87 Octane
regular pump gas. It will swing any Zenoah prop and have
a lot more low end and torque through the corners and
much more acceleration than a modified Zenoah and it will
give you about 1,000 more RPM than a modified Zenoah.
It uses a Zenoah piston. If you ruin the bore it is cheaper to
fix than a modified Zenoah. For most of your high end
modified Zenoah's you would either have to buy a whole
new engine or a very expensive ported head assembly. The
Zenoah piston it uses is totally stock. You don't have to
turn the outside of it and you don't have to lighten it, so a
new piston costs you $17.50, a ring is $6 and a crank is
$50. If the sleeve needs replacing, it costs $100 to put in a
new sleeve and hone it to size. If you need a new head
button it's $37.

he already has the CC racing modded zen, why would he buy another engine now?

i have a rebuilt stock zen that I used CC parts for (the turned down piston) & it runs great. i haven't heard a single bad thing about Carlos' engines. i'm sure you'll be happy with it. as for performance I haven't seen a full mod in person, but will be ordering one from him for my next build (a Retallick Sidewinder http://www.retallickeng.com.au/hulls.html ).

Im hitting just above 62 in my avenger with a Toxic neurotoxin, and thats setup for top end, not race trim. Im sure the cc will do that setup right.

Carlo knows his craft and makes a fine modified engine.
As too the boat doing 61 out of the gate ... I doubt it, that will take some set up time, a good prop & some tweaking IMO.

Had my QD25HT for close to a year now still runs like new, was going to replace the piston and ring about a week ago inspected it and and reassembled no new parts added. Very good engine I would reconmend it to anyone.. Both my conquest are 70+mph

Coyv10, Have you owned the avenger? if is so, is there a big differnce in handeling between the Avenger and the Conquest at these speeds. I really like the avenger and the handeling with the pro hatch in the low-mid 60mph range & was curious about the Conquest/QDHT 65-70mph combo. I don't think my avenger/pro hatch could handel those speeds in race trim.

Recently I built a 38" rigger and powered by a Zen7 engine, that pond would be a good place for testing and running.

It has made 6.57hp. on 1 dyno. I believe others make around 6-6.25hp. It would be interesting to see what a 26cc would make with reeds, or a 27.2cc. 2strokes respond well to stroking atleast in banshees
