Default HDX 500 4 cell to double 3S1P batteries

I have a HDX 500se. I am using the 4000 Mega lipo 20c. I really don't like this battery. It swells up and it is 6to7 oz. heavier than 2, 3 cell Trex type batteries. What I would like to know is how do you convert my HDX500 se to use double 3S1P batteries as they claim in thier adds. Do I need to change the gear to a higher count than 24 tooth or change the motor?

I have the Hacker A30 10xl 890kv. What the four cell I am runnig at 2800 to 2900 rpm. Are they runnig the two Trex 3 cell packs in series or parellel. I think i series you double the voltage, and parellel you double the current. My throtle curve is 100, 95, 85, 95, 100.
