operating temp
hi guys im making a water jacket to put on my weedy engine and i need to know what temperature a water jacket gets up to when running the boat, i plan and making it out of aluminum and soldering the top on with some aluminum solder but im not sure if it will hold up to the heat, the melting point of the solders are usually around 350-730 degrees F,

Hey Jacob, I have got a lathe if you need to use it, Instead if soldering the top on why not put a o ring grove in the top plate and seal it that way. Or maybe a zen cooling cap might fit???
Steve
P.S I cant make it to malaga tomorrow

ok thanks guys, Steve thanks for the offer with the lathe but ive done that stuff already [:@], the engine has a slanted spark plug so i wont be able to use a zen cooling cap and the soldering i just needed to solder the top plates onto the cap, oh and i'm not going to malaga tomorow anyway

RE: operating temp
I noticed on the head of my zen that it's hot to the touch. It's a stock zen with a Bonzi very cool water jacket. is that normal or should you be able to hold your finger on it?
