Quiet exhaust/muffler for Rio 51...???
After my second header break (added to an exhaust break as well), it is time to upgrade my setup from the stock one that clearly is no good. My concern is noise so I'm asking for advice as to the quietest exhaust/muffler setup for the Fuji (probably later to become a Zen!!) that would still allow the exhaust to exit the transom. I've seen a few bulky "quiet" pipes from Europe but they all require that the cowling be cut which I don't want to do.
Someone mentioned a "mushroom" silencer? Do they work and if so, who sells em?
Thanks for any feedback...

A t-mod is nice, but NOT quiet by any means, unless you mean a little more quiet than open pipe!
Check out BH Hansen's quiet pipe. I saw one run yesterday on a stock zen and it was fast as any band pipe or cone-to-cone and sounded like a 4 stroke plane engine. I would venture to say you could run it at a public pond and not offend anyone, its that quiet.
