Has anybody else tried the new 3M "Sandblaster" sandpaper? That stuff is awesome! You can sand and sand and it won't load up. Block sanding sheeted wings and such is a joy with it.

Amen Jim. I recently found this new 3M paper at the local Ace Hardware. I always used silicon carbide paper before (the grey stuff) because of its no-load properties. While Sandblaster is more expensive than regular paper--it lasts forever. For those whose Ace doesn't yet stock this paper you can ask them to special order it for you--it's in their warehouse. Comes in a variety of grits, from 60 to 400. Regards.

I buy 3M sand papers from Auto/body shop which it is marked on the back as " Pre cut Open Coat", for around .55 cents a sheet. It works exactly the same way you guys described. Since I found this paper I have never used regular sand paper. I was wondering we are talking about the same thing ?.
