Default Please help identify this Vintage Kyosho

Well friend found this in his grandpas garage and wanted to know what it was. I am not good with vintage R/C so tell me what does it look like?

We know:
2 Feet Long
Weighs 8 pounds
Comes with a gas tank (Nitro? Petrol?)
Seems to big to be a 1/8. Maybe a 1/7 or 1/6?
From the looks of it I think it is a 4wd. Front looks like a live axle.

Enlighten me.

EDIT: Forgot pictures. I did not take these or they would be 10x better but thats all I can get. (Friend lives in CA)

Maybe a Vanning?
Try to do a Google Image search on 'Kyosho Vanning' and see if that looks like it, it is hard to tell from your pic.

Nope not it. The Vanning has 2 shocks in the rear. This one has 4.

Could you also ask if it has trailing arm suspension up front? It does in the rear.

I've seen one before, I just cant recall the name.

Independent suspension in the front I think. Here are 2 more pictures of the front and the rear.

It looks VERY well built to me.

I added more pictures that were sent to me. My friend said that he will sell it to me. But I would like to know what it is worth first though...

I think I had one of those once. I don't remember what it was called but it was a real piece of crap that I eventually tossed out.

The brand distinction is subtle, but it's a Kyosho Rowdy Baja. Graupner used to sell Kyosho cars (and others) under their own name in the 80s, and while you may find a model here or there with the Graupner name, they were all made by Kyosho.
