Exhaust Upgrade (need some advice)
so I want to upgrade my stock pipe on my Revo 3.3 Im thinking of going the RDLogics Type X twin exhaust
But then I seen this HI-VELOCITY HVEBR1 VORTICE-BR PIPE
has anyone tried either of these?
Which one is harder on your engine?
Any advice would be appreciated.

did you notice any performance gains, and what do you mean by too loud as in like it annoyed you it was so loud or just was it just a bad loud?

I used a hotbodies tuned pipe, and noticed a pretty nice gain in performance. My 2.5 was able to wheelie quite a bit more. The one thing I noticed, besides it being a little louder, was that I had to richen the tune a bit.

I have the Resonator on my Revo at the moment and will be trying out the Buku for the first time this weekend. Can't wait to see if it was worth the $110.

The THS pipe is good. Its like $57 new. The buku pipe is just rediculously expensive. I'm sure it works great but I bought my motor for $140.. So for $30 more, I could have a secound 18tz.. I don't think spending that much is worth it for a pipe.
You can sometimes find them new on ebay for $40. It comes with a header and pipe.

try Vantage. they make a carbon fiber pipe for the revo. from what i hear its good for the money and weighs less than an aluminum pipe.

imo I dont think the dual exhausts are worth it because of the problems that CAN(not necessairly will) crop up. Imo i would stick with the resonator if ur gonna upgrade the exhaust. Ive heard good things about it also. But again this is only me speaking, and I know I dont speak for everyone which is quite ok [8D]

Matt he says he has the stock pipe, that isn't a resonator. If your looking at the resonator go ahead and cross it off your list. Drill the stinger out on your stock pipe and you have a resonator.

The lil thing that goes vroom vroom and shoots smoke, oil out. AKA the exhaust stinger that lets out the exhaust fumes and oil.
