i would not try it.i just did the samething yesterday on my sport and i melted the tie rod end's and made a melted plastic concave ring on both of my rims[&:][:'(]

The E version needs hex wheels, I think the Nitro version uses bearings in the wheels.

the rear wheels are run on hex's but the front's are bearing's.it's good to pay attention to that....i made the mistake of getting the wrong tires and threw 20$ down the drain

what nitrofan said, the rear nitro rims will work, not the front. lol, i still have some front rims form my nitrosport, and they wont work on any of my electric's.
