Default Jet Event Websites

Steve,
I suggest you visit the various jet event websites and look at the pictures. Many of these sites have picture galleries from the last several years. A lot are linked to Roger Shipley's Jets Over Mid-America website http://www.jetadic.com/
Also the BVM website has quite a few under his Hot Shots section.

Default Fleet of jets

Steve, I'm very envious. I can't wait to see them.

I'm in middle of painting the bottom of F-4 and will attach aileron, then all the guts after rebuild from mid-air. Should be able to balance tonight. I will be there by noon or sooner if I can.

Can't wait to see your new hanger and it's birds.

Default paint schemes

Steve, sometimes an idea or inspiration comes from other flamboyant paint schemes from other sports, events. I have gotten a basic theme from many a control line paint job or even a custom car magazine, stock car or real Reno F-1 type paint scheme. So a trip to Barnes and Noble or library can let you browse "many a picture" in a few hours.

Point is look elsewhere for ideas too!

I do this to come up with nose art names for my W-II birds.

Default Roo Blues

Here is my Kangaroo. I used some Promark Graphix, a little paint and some marking and came up with a sport scale scheme. Still need to add my pilot and seat.
Whatcha think?

Default Can you guys share some sport jet color scheme pics??

Well I think I have created a unique color scheme in my mind after some very deep thought. The colors will be very different I feel.I havent seen any jets so far in my findings that resemble what I vision.I will be using a flip flop fast change white that flips to a light purple that will fade it to a florescent yellow towards the back of the jet. Then on the bottom I am gonna paint it all purple. Then on the wings and sides of the fuse I am gonna have 3 dimensional checkered roads going from small on the nose to larger towards the back. The only thing I havent figured out yet is the overall pattern & how much of each color and size /exact location of the 3D checker borders.By the way this is going on my new BVM Viper ..I will share some pics when its all done
