HELP!! EVX-2 TROUBLE
Hello people I have a EVX-2 on an E-Max and It doesn't work! Know I took this truck in trade and I really don't have a clue on how to set this up!! I have an MX3 Airtronics controler and reciever. I want to put in the truck!! Do I need a battier pack and a on off switch for my Receiver or do I plug the EVX-2 into the reciever? I'm all messed up!

RE: HELP!! EVX-2 TROUBLE
No. U need to plug a battery pack into the reciever also. The EVX-2 is your throttle servo basically. No power goes back to the reciever. Yes it does plug into Channel 2 but u also need to plug a reciever pack into the reciever

RE: HELP!! EVX-2 TROUBLE
No the EVX2 supplies the power to the receiver. The MX3 doesn't have a built in BEC but it's not necessary since the EVX2 regulates the voltage down to 6v. Read the specs on the EVX2 and notice the part that says "BEC Voltage: 6.0 volts DC". http://www.traxxas.com/products/acce...ories_evx2.htm
