Corally RDX Rear Toe-in madness
something is really bugging me:
just a background on whats installed:
there are 2x1mm shims on the inside hinge pin, which should give me 2 degree toe-in.
the rear uprights have no marking to state the toe degree they provide (stock uprights) so it must be 0 degree.
now once I put the car on the setup station I get : left=3 degree toe-in , right=5 degree toe-in.
I took all the shims out and the reading is: left=1 toe-in, right=2 toe-in
so
I replaced the uprights with ones that have 2 degree marking on them and I get: left=2 right=3
so to get a 1 degree consistent reading, here what I did:
left = 2 degree uprights with 1mm shim to subract 1 degree, hence 1 degree toe-in
right= 2 degree uprighs with 2mm shim to subract 2 degree, hence 1 degree toe-in.
this is a total madness.............
the bulkhead are straight as a dart
can someone shed some lights Please?
cheers
