Will this Li-Po work in the DX3?
I have a DX3 and want to use Li-Po. I have this Li-Po for my vendetta. Will it work?

Thanks
Justin
P.S. Just to clarify I want this powering the DX3 transmitter and yes I know I will have to mod the actual transmitter I just want to know if this would be able to power it and last long...

The battery you use to power the truck doesn't really matter as long as your ESC has a BEC. Most receivers need 6v to operate - the BEC will take any voltage from the battery and reduce it to 6v.

Sorry - edited my post while you were replying.
The DX3 uses 8 AA batteries? At 1.5 volts each that's 12v, so I guess the 11.1v should be enough to power it. You might have a constant low battery alarm happening though.
How are you going to mount it?
