hi guys

i am thinking about using bj55 proboat hardware on my 41 inch falcon cat hull

any thoughts on their hardware from you guys

I've got a Falcon 41 on the way, it just shipped out Monday and is about 90% done. The previous owner set it up just about the same way that I would have but I'll know more when it shows up hopefully by the weekend.
The Pro Boat strut might be alright but I don't know about the rudder. I like my water pick-ups machined into the rudders myself as with that tube hanging out there it's just one more part that can get damaged. I also like the idea of having a way for the rudder to swing up out of the way in case I run into something.
Mine is coming with a Speedmaster rudder and an Octura skegged strut. The strut will probably go and be replaced with another later on but I'll be anxious for this baby to hit the water.
