RE: Boomerang XL Smoke Tank
In the early days of my Big Boomer, I would get a failsafe when I turned on my smoke system. So I isolated everything with a second receiver and moved the pump with its own battery and speed controller (homebuilt system) behind the main fuel tank and over the CG. I have a 24 oz. tank mounted sideways in the inlet space next to the main tank. I still get decent airflow around the tank and the other inlet is wide open. Here is a photo of my set-up. Hope that helps.

Bob,
I used a 32oz Dubro just aft of the radio tray. Fits perfectly. I think there are pre-crash pictures posted on here under my user name.
