Default Big Plane Newbie. Help please

Ok, after the past few weeks i have purchased my 30% Aviation models yak 54, a new DL-50, 4 hi-tech 5985's and 1 7955. I am planning on using my FM 9303 with dual recievers. I just need to know what else i need/should buy?

my next oder will be for a wing bag, 20x8 and 20x10 props, and whatever else i need to add

-Hardware?
-Metal servo arms?
-Batteries (type/how many)
-Accessories/electrical devices.

I just want to set this up right and not cut corners.

Don't think you need dual recievers at all for this size plane or many others for that matter.

Still no need. Perhaps use Smart Fly to eliminate signal problems.

You will need larger props than 20x8 or 20x10 on that engine. Most 50cc size engines use a minimum of 22x8. Check DLUSA's site for their recommended props.

darren I'm running a similar setup, common sense sells 2000 mah lipo's (8c) for like $25 to run the rcvr's, you'll need (2) 6v regs for the rcvr's, some sort of switch, I'm running the wolverine from fromeco which incorporates a batt share. Consider aluminum servo arms if you're gonna huck 3d. My 1650nimh 4.8v ign batt is good for about 5 15-17 min flights. You'll be SUPER happy with the dl that's what i've got also runs killer!!!

forgot to mention, for sure go with a bigger prop. the most common is 22x8 for break in then 23x8... but whatever works for your unique airframe/engine combo.

Go with the vess 22B prop for that engine you will love it. Be sure to ballance your prop. Also get the good servo arms TBM carries the metal ones. Get the 3"offset for the rudder servo and either 1.25 or 1.5 half arms for the rest. Use ball links on the servos and I use the dubro heavy duty adjustable control horns for the surfaces.
