Ultra Lightning at last!
Well its been a long wait but at last my Custom Scheme Ultra Lightning came in yesterday. I ordered one at FL Jets this year but at the time the new fuse hadent been made yet, so the first 5 came in this week and mine was number 1.
Even though Im a sales rep for CARF I paid full bang for this one, so I should be able to post pics and coment are welcome for discussion.
My camera is a junk one so these pics dont show the true colors or the detail and depth of the paint job. All I can say is it turned out totaly Sick!
I will be using 8711's and my New Jet Cat 160SX, along with the trailing link struts and stock brakes, Fromeco power system as well.

Looks really good, I like the colors a lot. I assume it was pinted in the mold, how do the seam lines look?
What is the pricing for a custom job like that?

Yes painted with fades on all colors going from dark to light and metalic
The base is silver and the two colors are lime green and indiglo blue metalic.
The only seam is on the top of fuse and it is very tite, you hardly notice it, I coule blend it in if I want, but IMO its not an issue.

Looks great!
Will have to come down and fly with sometime...when you start your season, I know it is hotter than hell down there right now...

I like the colors - it's always nice to have something different.
Can Comp-Arf do any color in metallic?
I'm trying to figure out a color scheme before I order one myself.

If you're trying to bash Comp-Arf, maybe you should tell Uncle Bob to copy the Lightning's nose structure considering its longer & none have broken off.
