Savage XL - grease on dog ends or not?
Hey Guys,
I bought a Sav XL and noticed grease has been applied to both ends on all the dogbones. I like to keep my trucks as clean as possible, and I see grease on the bones will just attract more.
Is adding grease to the bones normal practice?
Rob.

RE: Savage XL - grease on dog ends or not?
Thanks for the replies guys.
I bought a Savage XL, which HPI added sticky green lube to the dog ends.
It has me wondering whether HPI did it or someone had bought it prior to me and messed with it, then needed to return it.
(I know...conspiracy theory)
The truck had no evidence of dirt or fuel ever been in it, though the box came unsealed.
It doesn't matter now as she's dirty as a pig.

Thanks, Rob.
