Default Zenoah G-45 Recommended Props

Hey guys, I am not having much luck on searches so here is my post. What are the best props for a Zenoah G-45? I am also particularly looking for a 3-blade prop. Zenaoh recommends a 20x10 2-blade, what would be the best size 3-blade (18x10)??

Any help would be greatly appreciated including where to find such a 3-blade prop. Also, this is not for 3D flying, rather looks and ground clearance.

Thanks!

Jay

All in what type plane and what type flying you will be doing, As a rule I have always heard just to drop one inch for 3 blade,

The plane is a 1/4 scale Super Decathlon. I am actually using this plane as a winter flyer to break in 2 G-45's I plan on putting on my B-25. I would like to run 3 blade on the B-25 and could use the ground clearance on the Decathlon.

Thanks

Jay

F4you, do you know what RPM's you are getting with your 19x10? Also, where are you purchasing this prop from? I cannot seem to find a source.

Thanks

As I recall it was mid 6,000's. I get props from SisT in Germany. I'd think Aircraft International would either have them or could get them for you.

On a tug plane, I had used a menz19x10 with a krumscheid 1050, and a carb truppet. It was the best compromise between take distance, speed to compensate pilot error and traction (up to 6meters glider and 20Kg)

The same engine is now on a dimona 1/3 scale 5.6m, 15Kg. Home made, simple exaus system (fully integrated in the big cowl), carb truppet. I use a menz20x8. It can tug, I have test up to 8Kg/5meters, it can track more, but I have never had the glider on the field...
