So i bought a brand new Team Losi XXX-NT RTR. so far so good. Got a starter kit to get ready to run (glow plug and gaz stuff). i recharged the glow plug, i fulled the gaz tank, the batteries are in the box...

and when i try to start it, nothing.

and therE's something strange, i dont know if its because its new or anything, but when i pull the starter, it somehow jam every 1 1/2 inches, well, not jam, just gets harder to pull... is that normal?

It's probably hitting the compression stroke when it gets hard.

Try pulling the glow plug and see if it is easier to pull.

Are you priming the engine so it has gas before you start it? Check and be sure the glow plug really is working, no matter how new it or the glow starter is.

As for the resistance in the pull cord, thats the engine building compression. If you didn't feel that I would be worried, but since you do, that is good.

i'm sorry, i'm french, so not sure what priming means....

there was gaz running to the engine, i saw small bubble in the line to the engine

well an engine wont start without the glow plug.

and there should be no air bubbles in the fuel line

well, right now i'm more concern about the fact that i cant get it to start...

maybe i flooded the engine? if so, can it clear itself without having to remove the glow plug?

if your engine is flooded, than what you gotta do is take out the plug and flip the engine so all the excess fuel comes out. than prime it by one or 2 pulls and it should start. if it doesnt get easier than your just gonna have to pull a bit harder

The motor is getting harder to pull because it is flooded. Do what outluded said to un-flood the motor and try to start it again.

i finally managed to started it, and you were right, the engine was flooded....
