Default Fuel usage for a G-62

I've got one of these engines arriving in a few days. Will a 18 oz tank be enough for a 10 minute flight?

Yes, you should be in fine shape with that size fuel tank, IF you don't fly at full throttle constantly and if you have not tuned the engine too rich as most folks with glow experience do. In fact, even flying at full throttle you should have enough fuel to go the distance, with the engine tuned properly.

on the average a 62 will use about an oz a minute at some full and partilal throttle at full bore you will use about 1.45 oz per min

I got a 24 oz tank but would require modification to install so I'll just stick with the stock tank.

Thanks guys

Wingspar, just be sure to convert the tank with proper stopper! Hey, what are you mounting this 62 up to? It's your thread, might as well keep the conversation going a bit
