im looking into getting a 2.4 ghz radio , and i own 2 cars , i have narrowed down my choices into the dx3.0 and te 3pm fasst , i can get the 3pm fasst and a r603fs receiver for 265 shipped from tower hobbies because of a coupon or i can get the dx3.0 with 2 receivers ad 2 servos for 250 or less and i was also thinkng of getting the telemetry.

so now im looking for something reliable , more programmable , and doesn't have range/glitching issues ?

I say go for the Futaba 3PM FASST radio, I think the Futaba FASST system has better range from what I've seen.

I have range tested the FASST system to just over two miles on the flat California beaches, thats 10,560 feet. I don't know about you, but I can't see my Supermaxx 500 feet away.

hhmm , well i just canceled my order on towerhobbies because i was thinking that the 3pm is a simple radio and i may need to upgrade later , so now im thinking of getting the m11 dss 2.4ghz with 1 receiver it will cost be less that a 3pm with 3 receivers , should i get the m11 and is it worth it ?

What made you think that the 3PM is a simple radio and why will you need to upgrade later? I think you are way ahead of yourself here having ordered and then canceled your orders without taking any advice from your thread, you need to figure out what your needs are before ordering anything. Are you going to race others and be competitive or are you just going to run your car/truck as a hobby and have some fun?

the 3 pm is a verry good tx and with the 603 fs it is a verry good setup, If you want , a more programmable tx you will have to go up to the 3pks and that with heh 603fs and fast module will cost you twice as much.

i do race , i have raced a couple of times but im not a serious racer but im thinking of getting serious , wat made me cancel the order is that i thought that i m8 want to upgrade later so instead of buying the 3pm then upgrade i would buy a more programmable one, now the one im thinking of getting is the m11 dss 2.4 ghz is it a gd radio compared to others?

The M11 DSS 2.4GHz or the Futaba 3PKS are both very high-end radios, there both very capable computer radios with lots of programing options. If you are on a budget, go with the lowest price model. The M11 is ($299.99) $100 cheaper than the 3PKS $399.99.

Might be a good move staying away from the 3PM Faast. A buddy and me both have glitch problems with ours. I'm looking for a new radio now, my 3PM locked up in the A main, I'm done.

i have the dx2 and im going to move to the dx3, i love the radio, ive had no issues, range isnt as far as much as i would like but it works great at the track ive never had an issue at the track
