Spectrum work with Losi transmitters/recievers?
So whos all compatible? Can a the Spektrum work with Losi OEM 2.4Ghz units. WHat works with Futaba? Do I have to buy Futaba R603FS 3 channel recievers at $90 a piece?

The OEM Losi 2.4GHz units utilize Spektrum 2.4 GHz DSM1 technology. You can use either the Losi or Spektrum brand as they are generally compatible ...if you are using a DSM1 tx, it is only compatible with DSM1 rx's. If you invest in a DSM2 tx (ie. Spektrum DX3R), you can use either DSM1 or DSM2 rx's.
I was thinking about upgrading to a Futaba 3PM 2.4 GHz FASST, but after taking into consideration the cost of purchasing the tx/rx package and two additional rx's (I have three Losi trucks), it made more financial sense to buy a Spektrum DX3R.
