Default Trex 600 tail spin problem

I am using gy401 with dig servo. The heli will lift off somewhat smooth, but as i increase throttle it wants to spin then if I decrease throttle it spins the other way. Is this from the direction switch being reversed on servo??? thanks for any help.

Check that you have REVO mix disabled.

This is easy to see, with the reciever powered up and the motor disconnected, run the throttle stick up and back and if the tail blades change pitch then find it and disable it.

No REVO on, all are 0%, I even tried to switch gyro direction to see if it was backwards, but that was not it. I can hover ok, but as soon as i yaw left or right the heli goes up or down with that movement. I copied all the settings from my other 600, so it has to be something with gyro or wiring... dont know....

How are you setting your gyro gain?

Is the light on solid before you go flying?

Up it to 75.

Put the switch in heading hold and rebind the receiver.

Then power up the reciever. The gyro should flash quickly 3 seconds then come on steady. If its flashing you have another problem.
