RE: Your favorite buggies?
From a buggy perspective, it has to be The Frog. It's the vehicle responsile for making me add this hobby to my R/C flying addiction - way back when.
After The Frog, it has to be an OFNA product. I've had so many of them I guess I'll choose my first 1/8 nitro buggy, the OFNA Hong Nor HODR.

Glad to hear someone else had an HODR too!
My 2 favorite buggies have to be the Marui Samurai and Kyosho Maxxum FF.
The samurai was well ahead of it's time with 3 differentials, an extremely light chassis, and killer good looks. Too bad the gears weren't made of a more durable material.
The Kyosho Maxxum was cool in how they set-up this front wheel drive buggy. No RWD could hold a candle to it on the local track. It was quickly bannished to the 4wd class and died a quick death.

RC10 gold pan, pre stealth tranny!! My first RC was a Lunchbox, which is hobby grade and fun, but my first experience with a very well engineered, racer, adjustable/tunable RC was an RC10 gold pan. That was way back in '88 or '89!!
