Ira, are you planning to get your waiver? If so, check out the AMA website and download the document that has the Turbine CD's on it. Pick the one closest to you and give them a call. Most likely they will have have lots of information and will help you get through the process.

I still call/yell at/cry to/***** at the TCD who helped me. Good luck.

Bob

Default here ya go-

I think quite a few jet pilots fly on the Miramar base and Camp Pendleton in Oceanside... El Toro seems fairly popular also-

Try Shaun Evans who is "Yellow Aircraft" on here from Oceanside, and Harley Condra who is a rep. for BVM-

There are alot of nice jet folks in this area.... Now if I could just become a member at Miramar so I don't have to fly my DF's off a crooked strip in Lakeside!

Best of luck,
james

As far as the Miramar guys go, contact Buck (RCU id "Buck Garza"). He's a very friendly & knowledgeable guy who can give you lots of help & info.

Duh - you're right ! I was brain dead this morning (just for a change). Thanks a lot for the correction.

Later,
Gordon
