Default Regulator Question

I am familiar with running basic regulators, switches, etc..... but i am looking to step it up a bit..... i have a fromeco relion 5200 with deans on it, and i have a Fromeco badger switch with deans on it too.

I am looking at fromeco's sahara regulator with Deans in, and 3 JR out. According to Fromeco each JR output can put out 3 amps, and i have a 10 channel JR945 RX that will have 3 vacant slots, so that means i can plug all of the regulators(3) outputs into the rx right? for 9 amps?

Default RE: Regulator Question

Yes.

The Sahara with 3 leads out is capable of 9amps continuous. If we go on the assumption that each servo connector is good for 3amps continuous....... then you are in perfect shape.

You can plug leads into ANY open port on the RX and that will provide power to the entire buss.

Whats the continuous discharge rating of your Relion battery? If it won't do 9amps or 10 amps continuous......... that will be the weak point in the system.

thankyou, this will be going on a 50cc bird with 5-5955 and a 225mg for throttle, so i'll be fine I have flown a similar setup with standard jr leads all around, and only one jr input into the rx with out a hitch
