it's a 4-40 pushrod from the servo to a single tiller arm, nothing rocket science about it.

LOL, Thanks for that sage little epistle. I'm looking for pics of actual installs in effort to solve a specific problem not of my own creation, not...well....nevermind. Since you bothered to chirp up, do you have a pic of your non-rocket science installation or were you just bored?

Shawn, gotta love it! I gotta agree with KC tho. You built that twin turbine hornet from a kit, right? Why cant you figger this out? It's not rocket science! it's just a tiller arm and a 4-40 rod! why do you need a pic, huh?

Merry Xmas, bro. Look forward to hangin out soon.

LOL,

You too, friend. Yeah, we'll see what to do with this. Whoever did this install buggered it up pretty good. I could spend a bunch of time trying to figure out a good fix, but I think it'll be helpful to see what the proper setup was first....

Vincent,

Thanks. Do you still have one of these? If so, any pics of the linkage and servo placement? I'm trying to unf**k something here....

For EDF. Put the servo in front. You need space for the batteries.
It very simple steering mech.

Yep,

I know it's simple. It's just like the ones I've been using on airplanes with retracts for 15 years. That's not the problem. When you have time, give me a call and I'll explain it in detail. You kinda have to see what the builder did to understand....

Spencer,

Life's like that sometimes! I figured that's why you dumped it!

Vincent,

Thanks for playing anyway! Ron managed to get a pic. I guess he's got a smaller camera?

Ron,

You're the man! Is that the stock (or recommended) steering servo location? Is there photography or mention of it in the hard-copy manual (I have the PDF version)? Thanks a million!

So where's all the legendary customer service or even just an attempt at helpfulness? Guy comes on here asking for PICTURES and gets smart remarks and "it's not that complicated". Nice.

Hey Shawn.. no problem my friend
That is the servo location for the EDF version .. but I see no reason why it won't work for turbine
the turbine version comes from the back side.. there is a picture in the CD.. mine is in a mess somewhere in the shop...lol
let me know if you need more pics and I'll dig up the CD

Going West.. pretty sure your just messing around.. but I will say being a customer of Tams for a while now the guy will help out anytime you call him
even if he is busy he will still take the time to help out and BS

Ron,

While we're talking about A-4's, can you tell me what the combined capacity is in the stock tanks (3)?

The main tank are 38oz the saddle tank 15oz each,
Total 68oz for all three tank.

Actually that's not why I "dumped" it....I never even looked at the steering mechanism. Did you get it figured out?

Spence,

Bad choice of words. No implication meant with "dumped." I know you didn't build this, so no harm no foul. Merry Christmas!

This is very simple basic steering mechanist was use by Spring Air retract and some other retract.
Hope this is only problem you don't understand......otherwise I had to charge you for the hours edited every single photos in detail.
