Default How to attach aluminum servo arms?

got these flat aluminum servo arms with a Nitro models 85" Yak and have no idea how to make them work.
They're flat, have 4 screw holes surrounding the perimeter of the cnter which has about a 1/2" hole in it.

Glue and screw them to a large existing servo arm (round preferred).

Throw them in the trash and get some good quality SWB arms. Airwild has some knock-offs of the SWB's for less $$.

Nothing wrong at all with what he has if he mounts them correctly. If you get scared of this type of a servo wheel, don't buy a Comp Arf. You'll have to leave the high end stuff for those who can.

Yeah Hitec includes those heavy duty servo wheels for free. He can use those arms as is.

For thos, who do not want to be a mechanical engineer: 3W makes giant scale alu arms with serrations that fit right on the servo shaft of their B100 high torque servo's.

yes, the Hitec servos I have are heavy duty digitals (5985) and do come with heavy duty wheels, but they are on the big side ( O.D) probably like 2-1/4" they don't come with the smaller lighter weight white plastic ones and are too big to use with these arms.

Krayzc-RCU thanks for the pics. Guess I'll go with the one with the white wheel from the lower line of seros to make the arm fit.At least I have those type laying around
Will this hold up in an 85" 3D plane setup with a 64cc motor?
First venture into large scale 3D. Veteran of giant scale, just not this 3D stuff

Is it true that these need to also be glued along with srews and nuts as Taildragger726 mentioned?
Any special glue if that's a yes?

Won't the nylon splines on the servo wheel strip on the metal output shaft?

in a wreck they will but not flying. This plane has been running that set up for about 5 years now:

Its amazing some of the things that do not break in normal flying like the hardpoints were the horns are mounted, parts of the fuse, the new way of cutting up an engine box and the list goes on

Flexable CA from Mercury, then four screws. Rudder arms for a 35% Pilot-RC Yak.
