Default What shocks to get for the RS4 3 SS ?

I want to upgrade my shocks and I was wondering what the really good threaded ones for this car are.I've seen em in somebodys pics but can't find em now...I just don't want to order the wrong thing

Default What shocks to get for the RS4 3 SS ?

Personaly I think the HPI threaded aluminium ones are about your best bet.I use them on my SS and they are really nice.

would that be the $35 HPI Super Shocks?.....thats what I have in my shopping cart at the moment....and a CVEC,that plastic pipe is crap

These are the one i'm talking about.If you order them make sure you order two of them because they are a pair(2).I didn't pay attention and only ordered one pair then I had to wait for the other two.

Default What shocks to get for the RS4 3 SS ?

if you're asking what brand, hpi, if you're asking which one, then i recomend softer then medium in the rear for more stable cceleration and harder then medium for the front, but make sure w/e one you get that it isn't too stiff or when your car hits a bump it'll fly then flip then land and it might cost you some scrapes and scrathes

What is the difference between these and the stock ones. I dont understand how they can be any better. They are the same shape and same springs

They are adjustable and the shock shafts are stronger and the use aluminium shock bodies instead of plastic ones
