Default Glow Igniter

What kind of glow igniters does everyone run? I just have a couple cheap ones that push down and twist on, and arent rechargeable. I havent used them in a long time, and I never really liked them, so im thinking about getting a rechargeable one that locks on when you let the collar down with your fingers.

What does everyone run? Does anyone else run the cheap ones that push and turn to lock on, or does everyone run better ones? Im getting back into nitro, so im trying to decide if i should use what i have or buy a better one. I dont want to be questioning if my glowplug is getting hot though. Thanks

Eric

i use the pull the prongs and clamp down, i know some people who use the twist and lock, i think is all personal opinion, I like the clamp downs but if your using say a starter box, a twist and lock could come in handy, Carolina's RC makes a really nice glow driver that a friend of mine has used forever without a problem[8D]

I was thinking about one like this: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXJ803&P=ML

I have 2 of the old push and turn ones. I may clean them up and try them. One is C cell and one is D cell. Seems like I had a charger at one time, but i dont know if i still have it or if i let it go with the last of my nitro stuff i traded off.

I have a glow starter like this right now:

I have one like that, it came with my Raze.
It seems to work just fine, only problem I can with this style is that over time the tip might spread out and not hold onto the glow plug very well.
