Default The best suspension?

What do you guys recommend as a great suspension setup for bashing/jumping?

I have the losi shocks mounted atm, them seem pretty great but I am not sure if I want to spend the money for the proper mounting kit. Is it worth it?

I think everybody in here will say stay stock... And change oils and springs to suit your needs.

For just bashing stock shocks like every one is saying. You can get replacement shocks CHEAP off off ebay.

I was in the exact same situation as you, I got rid of the Losis for a similar reason, and cause they were heavy for me. I went with truggy shocks, and I love them. Been beating the crap out of the setup for a year and I haven't broken a single suspension/dampener part unless you count an a-arm. I am running Fullforce R/C towers (super beefy, like 10mm thick and light too), with XTM ST shocks, so far they have held up to some amazing hits. Here is a pic:

Best pic of it right now since my external hard drive isn't connected:

(P.S.- The pic is taken after going 40+mph into a rock)

I'm new to this but learning fast so this might be a stupid question but what are the zip ties on your cooling head for? what are they holding?

They are for extra protection for the cooling head. Mine is chipped pretty badly so bashing without them is a death sentence.
