Dynamite Field Charger: http://www.dynamiterc.com/Products/D...ProdID=DYN4059

RE: Multi station Chargers?
For just a little more then what the Dynamite and power supply cost you can buy two of these and have more features and a read out. It is AC/DC so you can all so use it in the field with the battery from you car or truck.

RE: Multi station Chargers?
Correct me if I am wrong but the Dynamite will only charge two packs at a time so if you have two Piranha it would be the same thing and they plug in to house current or you can use a car battery with MANY more features. All so if you check the specializations you have a MUCH better range of adjustments. On receiver packs with the Dynamite you only have a choice of 1 or 2 amps. With the Piranha you can go as low as .01 amp to way to much 7 plus amps. On 6 to 8 cells you can go up much higher on the amps then with the Dynamite. If you charge your batteries at a lower rate they will last longer but you can increase it if you need to for fast charge. All so with the screen you can get a MUCH better idea the condition of your batteries. You all so get to set the peak charge you want and see it on the screen when done. Its your call.

The Dynamite field charger will charge a 7.2V pack for the RotoStart (4 amp max), 6V hump pack (1 or 2 amp setting), and a Glow Ignitor... ALL AT THE SAME TIME. The Piranha will NOT do that. Two Piranha's will not do that. I have a Piranha, but totally stopped using it because it will not perform ALL my charging needs "at the same time".
The Piranha is a nice charger, but it's too fancy for my needs and takes too long to get everything charged (since it can only do one at time).
The draw back some some is that it's not AC/DC. Not a big deal for me becasue I already had a 12v DC 15 amp Power supply. If someone doesn't have a power supply, then simply use a car battery, or invest in a power supply.
For the money, it's a great multi-Charger.

That is the way I read it! You can program the Piranha to have 10 battery memory. The Dynamite is nice but needing another power supply and the lack of features it is not for me but for some.

Yes it will charge 1 to 8 cells. A glow plug starter is 1 cell. It will charge any RC battery other then a Lipo or gel for the most part.

Not a peak charger and I would get the Dynamite or Piranha over it. All so you see where it says a over night charger? Highest amperage is 500mA which is not even a full amp.

RE: Multi station Chargers?
I thought you wanted a charger that would charge quickly and the last one you posted will not. If you like it get it. But with the Piranha even charging one at a time will take a WHOLE lot less time the the one you last posted. Bottom line it is all up to you. Some times you just cannot have your cake and eat it to.

RE: Multi station Chargers?
the super brain 977 can charge all batteries and lipo's. And it's ac/dc only problem is that it is a crap shoot. some units work perfect, and others don't work at all.
