Default Splicing batteries..

hey guys, i have a q on batts.. it might sound silly, but i have to know..

ok, i have the stock traxxas 1100 5 cell flatpack, i also have an ofna 1700 humppack. would it be safe to splice em together? i have the stock traxxas tq3 setup, and that would be uber sweet if i could run it like that..

sure, you would have to put them in parellel though. just make a parellel connector.

pardon my ignorance, but what is it? so splicing red to red, and black to black would be the wrong way to do it?

No, red to red and black to black is parallel. If you were to splice them red to black and then use the remaining red and blacks to connect to your plug, that would be series. Good luck.
