Global-Jet legend F-15
I just ordered a F-15 from global jet club. I was wondering if anybody had any input to offer about how she flys. I been flying jets for sometime now I have had a skymaster gripen and currently flying a flash. I chose the F-15 for the field I fly at, It is 400 foot of paved runway with a substantial amount of run off kind of tight. Is the air brake more for show or is it functional in the air? Reason I ask is I have never seen anybody use it in flight before.

The JL F-15 is a great flying airplane, you will love it. Takeoff run is a function of power (of course). It gets off the ground quickly with a P-120-sized engine. You want all of the stabilator throw you can get on high rates - the high-alpha stuff is fun! Mine did not have the air-brake...
