Default Xtreme 3000

To my eye, it looks like MODEL design has begun to seriously influence full-scale planes. Look at the over-size stab, large control surfaces and the full span ailerons. This plane, designed in Germany, has had some early succes in aerobatic competition at the national level (France).

There are already construction articles in the modeling press in Europe on this plane.

One of the French RC mags has an article of a scratch built one this month. Sure looks like it would make a good model.

I have one on Aerpfly Pro and I like the looks of it. It's in a red and black sheme and looks sharp.

Here's one of the videos. I have the 342 on Aerofly Pro and I love flying it. It has a red and black scheme and looks great in the air. Wish someone would ARF it. I'd be the first to have one. Something different.

Simple. Cut the nose off of a Yak SP-55M (keep the wings and tail) and build a new canopy-forward similar to an Extra 330SC. Copy a Staudacher/Velox nose for an outline, and wrap it in a sexy cowl with Leroy Lopresti-style smoothed inlets. That should look close enough.

Mrbigg, where did you get the AFPD file? Is it on the iPacs website (whatever it is)? I need to get that one!

I think it was. They have a link there that you can click on that shows you what is new since your last visit.
