i have a xtm nitro the one way bearing will not stay on piston rod am i putting it on wrong

It wont stay on because the fit on the bearing and pocket isn't tight enough?

I'm asking if thats whats causing the problem. If it is try leaving the bearing in the freezer for a few hours and heating up the crankcase. Reinstall the bearing as normal but wrap one or two layers of tinfoil around it to take up the play. This is a temporary fix.
