Replacing prop hub
Hi all,
I have a G26Ei and I am trying to replace the prop hub.
I have the prop bolt removed, but , I am having a problem removing the hub.
Before I break anything, I need help.
Is the prop hub fasten by thread-lock on a tapered shaft, with no key?
I could use some suggestion on removing the hub.
Thanks for your help,
Hogrider

RE: Replacing prop hub
Hi TKG,
I did as you suggested and applied a little heat (not much is needed) to soften the tapered shaft Lock-Tite and it popped right off.
Thanks for being a great source of knowledge and willing to share. It keeps some of us pups from making mistakes (sometimes major ones).
Thanks again for your help,
Hogrider
