Default Help with new truck purchase.

I am looking at buying a new truck. I currently have a maxx 3.3 and have had a lot of fun with it but it's time to go bigger and faster. I defiantly want a 1/8 scale truck built for bashing. I would like to stay around $600.00 but can go a little higher if it's worth it. The local hobby shops in my area carry parts for most major brands so parts should not be an issue. Thanks for any help or suggestions you can give me.

If you want electric, get the Savage Flux HP. If you want nitro, the Losi LST XXL is just around the corner.

Default RE: Help with new truck purchase.

I would suggest getting an MGT 8.0, if you can handle the power, or an LST2. The LST2 is a little better for jumps and track handling, but the MGT has WAY more power, better wheelies and is an all around better basher. Both models come with an equally good radio. The only difference is that the LST2 radio is synthesized, but it doesn't sound like you have a real need for that. It's basically a 50/50 split between the two. If you want to race right out of the box, then go with an LST2. If you want to haul *****, and just bash with occasional racing the MGT8.0 is your best bet. Both trucks have plenty of aftermarket parts for them too.
