HAS ANYONE CONVERTED THE GEORGE MILLER/IRON BAY F-22 TO TURBINE.I NEAD INFO ON WHERE AND WHAT TO BEEF UP AND ALSO WHERE TO LOCATE ENGINE AND FUEL TANKS, ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

A little off topic but it will move the post to the top of the stack, so... Are these George Miller kits available by phone order only? I don't see them listed on the Iron Bay website. I really wanted the T-38 or F-22.

hi don, i got my f-22 from craig aviation several years ago before he aqquired byron originals (iron bay now) and i"VE ben flying it ducted fan and its pretty slow with an o.s. 91 in it.
you could probably get one from iron bay or john craig would know where to find one. i hope this helps.

John Craig should be able to make you one.I orderded mine last
year from him.Took me three months to get it.Quality glass work.
Comes with drawing and instruction booklet.If interested,might
be looking to sell you mine.Have other projects in the works.
You can see it at my gallery.I do know some one who has one that is Amt mercury powered.Should be easy to convert.I originally
bought this kit for my Wren turbine.But have Lavy on order for this turbine.If I have time later might be able to email you some
pics of the turbine F-22.We where at a scale show this weekend.
He brouht the jet,but did not fly.It rained.We were at Gardner
Mass.Sunday was better,but windy.
