Engine Temp Question
I know this gets posted a lot, and I have read other threads on it, but I really just want to ask it anyways.
I have a MGT 3.0 and I am kinda new to this nitro thing. I have it tuned farely well... I think. The thing runs great and I really don't want to mess with it. I use one of those venom on board temp gauges, and I have it running between 230's and 260's. I have not seen it get over 268. After I make a few full speed passes and run it hard for about 2 minutes it gets into the 260's and I take it easy for a minute or two and it drops back into the 230's. Is that normal and good? Also, when I see it at 260, I make myself take it easy. But, if I kept running hard, do you think it would keep getting hotter, or is the 260's where it max's out?

RE: Engine Temp Question
Sounds resonable....the M26SS in my Aftershock runs around those temps, though I read that it likes a bit more temp than some....maybe richen it a bit, or add some more cooloing holes to the windshield of your truck body....
