I search for the turbine.
They say "There are NO plastic parts used on the Behotec turbines. The JB 180 will power models up to and above the 55 lbs class. "
if it is true. the power is amazing!

This turbine (JB-180) is rated for 180 N, the statement on the website is that it can handle 55 # models, which is plausible.

I got one of these recently when the North America distributor, Altecare RC in Canada, had a sale a few months ago. I have not run it yet, but it is P-120 or P-160 or Wren-160 size, and has close to P-180 power. Reports I have read on these motors are very good, I will be putting it into a 1/7 scale Yellow F-18. According to the run sheet that came with my motor, it produced 186 N on the test stand.

Interestingly, some of the Behotec turbine manuals on the site refer to a family of turbines that include, in addition to the JB-180, a JB-200 .. if so, that would seem to be a little larger (duh), but I have seen no announcement of it other than the mention on the cover of the manual that's posted on the Altecare site.

FWIW, Peter who runs Altecare was excellent to deal with, and the turbine was delivered in just a few days as promised.

Dave
